How does the design process work?

The first step is to schedule a consultation meeting using our invitation inquiry form.

The goal for the meeting is to learn more about you to cohesively weave your love story into your wedding stationery. Everything from your wedding aesthetics, stationery needs, event timelines and budget will be discussed.

We will also dive into your design vision for the suite such as printing methods, paper type, suite colors, ink colors, embellishments and additional services.

Embellishments can be included to further elevate your suite design, allowing more room for customization. Items such as wax seal stamps, envelope liners, vellum wraps, belly bands or ribbon ties are a just few that come to mind, but other ideas are welcomed!

Additional services to consider for your suite include envelope guest addressing services, invitation assembly and invitation mailing services. These services can help streamline the remaining steps of your invitation suite as the assembling and mailing will be taken care of in your place.

02.

After your services have been confirmed and your wedding date is secured, we will begin the design process for your invitation suite!

Using all of the precious information gathered during our consultation call, we will refine our initial ideas through a series of rendering proofs. These will serve as digital mock-ups of your suite and will reflect your design vision.

From there, there will be two edits available to make any desired changes to the design. Changes such as typography, suite color schemes, ink color and verbiage will be included. However, more in depth changes such as design layout, verbiage placement or complete design changes will require additional fees.

Once the design is finalized, the printing process will begin!

This is the part of the process where your invitation suite begins to come to life!

Digital printing services will be completed in-house and the expected turnaround time for 100 suites is 2-3 weeks from design finalization.

Letterpress and foiled printing services will be printed through trusted industry professionals. General turnaround time for these services can take up to 4 weeks due to additional processing and shipping times.

Now your suite is printed and ready to move onto the assembly process!


04.

These are the final steps to your invitation suite before they are delivered to your guests!

Depending on your service needs, we will either assemble and mail the suites in your place or the suites will be shipped to you for assembly.

For the full service option, the suites will be assembled according to our designs and stuffed into printed envelopes with guests’ address information. They will then be mailed through USPS using hand-cancelled services, this means that each envelope is hand processed to future ensure the safe deliveries of each suite.

For those who may want to take part in the assembly process, the stationery goods will be shipped to you with all suite elements individually packaged. A fully assembled suite will also be included for you to use as a visual aide during the assembly process. Further mailing directions and tips can also be provided if necessary!

Finally, your suites are ready for their debut. Providing your guests with a taste of what’s to come for the wedding day!
