Design Process

Before the design process begins, a consultation meeting is scheduled to learn all about your wedding vision and stationery needs.

In this meeting, invitation suite design specifics including information for invitation cards, RSVP cards, insert cards, suite embellishments, additional services, paper types and printing methods will be discussed.

Once all design details have been gathered, a digital rendering of your invitation suite will be provided as a visual representation of the final product. From this point, there will be two rounds of edits available to make any revisions or verbiage changes before final approval.

When all designs have been approved, printing and assembly can begin!

Full service assembly services are available or can be opted out if you prefer to take part in this process personally instead.

Printing Methods

Digital

One of the most flexible printing methods available transferring digital designs directly onto a variety of materials through inkjet or laser printers.

This process does not require printing plates or cylinders, making it ideal for paper or even linen materials.

Another benefit of this printing method is the on-demand printing which offers a shorter turnaround time as compared to other printing methods.

2-3 Week print turnaround time

Letterpress

A traditional and timeless printing method using the technique of relief printing where raised printing plates are pressed onto paper. This method creates a deep impression, thus providing crisp and distinctive tactile characteristics.

Following closely to traditional letterpress printing methods, each card will be manually fed to ensure the highest printing qualities. Because this is a process that requires extra love and care, it will result in a longer turnaround time than Digital Printing.

4-5 Week print turnaround time

Foil

Also referred as foil stamping or hot foil printing, this is a modern approach to the letterpress printing method with the addition of metallic foil print colors.

A thin layer of foil is pressed onto paper using a heated printing plate, creating a tactile effect similar to letterpress printing with a little extra flair.

This is an ideal printing methods for those who want to elevate their wedding stationery.
